In the morning of Sep. 25^th, the China Geographic Information Society Conference 2014 was opened in Chengdu with the theme “New Opportunity, New Progress, New Achievement”. The speakers and guests included the Deputy Minister and Membersof Ministry of Land and Resources of the People’s Republic Of China, the Director, Mr Ku Rexi•MaiHeSuTi and the Secretary of National Administrative of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, the Deputy Director of Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress,Mr Peng Yu,Members and the Deputy Minister of National Administrative of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, the President of China Association for Geographic Information Society, Mr Song Chaozhi etc. 
 

   The conference lasted for two days. The main agenda of the conference included releasingindustry report, praising Top 100 Enterprises in China Geographic Information Society, the winner of Science and Technology Progress Award of Geoinformation as well asthe winner of Excellent Engineering Award of China Geographic Information Society, organizing Geoinformation Development Exhibition and forum for communication on successful experience, etc.

    For the first time, the conference held evaluation and selection of Top 100 Enterprises in China Geographic Information Society, and KQ GEO Technologies, Co., Ltd. was successfully selected as one of them,and meanwhile won the praise. The projects undertaken by KQ GEO Technologies including Land and Resources “One Map” and Integrated Management Platform in Ziyang, Afforestation Management System in Henan, and Land Use Management System in Ji’ning respectively won Excellent Engineering Silver Awards of 2014 Geographic Information Society. The Research on Technologies and Methods of Provincial-Level Land Use Database Update won the third prize of 2014 Science and Technology Progress Award of China Geographic Information. 

    Besides, KQ GEO Technologies held Sub-forum of Government Informatization and attended Geoinformation Development Exhibition.
